1. General
By purchasing from Direct Flooring & Carpets, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all sales, installations, and services provided by us.
2. Orders & Deposits
• A minimum 50% deposit is required before any product can be ordered or a fitting date scheduled.
• Orders will not be placed until the deposit has been received.
• The remaining balance must be paid in full before the scheduled fitting day.
3. Payments
• Full payment must be made prior to installation.
• We accept payment via all major cards and bank transfer.
• Failure to pay the outstanding balance may result in delays or cancellation of your fitting.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
• Deposits are non-refundable once the order has been placed with our suppliers.
• If you need to reschedule your fitting date, please provide at least 7 days’ notice.
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled fitting may be subject to additional charges.
5. Fitting & Installation
• All floor installers used by Direct Flooring & Carpets are independent subcontractors. As such, any issues related to the fitting of your flooring must be addressed directly with the the shop to address any concerns, and Direct Flooring & Carpets holds no liability for installation work.
• It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the area is clear and ready for installation. Any additional work required (such as removing old flooring, moving furniture, or subfloor preparation) may incur extra charges.
• We are not responsible for any unforeseen issues such as subfloor damage or moisture problems that may delay installation.
6. Product & Warranty
• All products are subject to availability. If a product is discontinued or unavailable, we will offer an alternative of equal quality.
• Manufacturer warranties apply to all products. Any claims must be made directly to the manufacturer, and we will assist where possible.
7. Liability
• Direct Flooring & Carpets is not liable for any accidental damage to property or belongings unless caused by negligence on our part.
• Once flooring has been fitted, we are not responsible for any issues arising from improper maintenance, incorrect use, or environmental factors.
• As all fitting is carried out by independent subcontractors, Direct Flooring & Carpets is not responsible for any installation-related issues. Direct Flooring & Carpets will assist where needed.
8. Complaints & Disputes
• If you are unhappy with any part of your purchase, please contact us within 5 days of receiving your order, and we will work to resolve the issue.
• Any disputes that cannot be resolved directly will be handled in accordance with UK consumer laws.
9. Changes to Terms & Conditions
• Direct Flooring & Carpets reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
